These terms describe permitted use, responsibilities, and service limitations for Protection Pendant products and the application. Last updated: May 29, 2026.
Provider roles
Protection Pendant pendants are sold by National Sales Partners. National Sales Partners hosts the domain and public website for the pendant offering. SquaredSolutions develops the Protection Pendant application that supports device operations, alert workflows, maps, reporting, and related administrative features.
Use of the service
The pendants and application are intended for authorized customers, caregivers, supervisors, administrators, and other approved users supporting care, safety, and operational workflows. You are responsible for using the service only as authorized, keeping login credentials confidential, maintaining accurate account and facility information, and following your organization’s policies.
Pendant and alert limitations
Pendant alerts, GPS locations, battery information, cellular or network connectivity, escalation notices, and reports may be delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, or incomplete because of device, carrier, facility, user, integration, or network conditions. The service supports response workflows but does not replace professional judgment, emergency procedures, direct supervision, or any legally required monitoring process.
Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for configuring facilities and users, training authorized staff, testing devices, maintaining charging routines, responding to alerts, and confirming that pendant use is appropriate for each resident, patient, or participant. Customers are also responsible for obtaining any required notices, consents, authorizations, or agreements related to location tracking, health information, employee use, resident use, and emergency response workflows.
Data and privacy
Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy and any written agreement between the customer, National Sales Partners, SquaredSolutions, or other applicable parties. Do not submit information to the service unless you are authorized to do so and have the rights, permissions, and approvals required for that information.
Text message program
If you opt in, Protection Pendant may send recurring account and device status text messages, including device checks, battery alerts, and location confirmations. Message frequency varies based on device activity and account status. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to cancel text messages at any time. Reply HELP for help.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, reverse engineer protected parts of the application, submit malicious code, or use the service in violation of law or contract. Access may be suspended or restricted to protect residents, customers, users, the application, devices, infrastructure, or service providers.
Changes and availability
Features, integrations, device behavior, and these terms may change over time. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the updated terms, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. The service may be modified, interrupted, suspended, or discontinued for maintenance, security, operational, commercial, legal, or technical reasons.
